What are the holidays without a little “spirit?” One of my favorite things to do at the Disney parks is taste the different cocktails and beverages, and it’s even more fun when the drinks show some Christmas cheer! Below I’ve detailed the Bests Holiday Drinks at Disneyland.
Up until recently, the signature cocktail menu at the Disney parks left a little to be desired, merely featuring standard barfare and somewhat watered-down cocktails. However, with the incarnation and huge popularity of the themed drinks at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar, the company has since upped its beverage game across the parks.
Lots of people are super excited about this awesome new upgrade in sips (myself included). Let’s take a look…
Red-Nosed Zebra – Trader Sam’s
This cocktail is a perfect blend of sweet and tart with aged rum, strawberry puree, lemon, and lime juices. Plus, it’s pretty darn fun to look at!
Gorilla Nog – Trader Sam’s
For those interested in more subtle flavors, try Sam’s Gorilla nog with honey-flavored whiskey, ginger, and orange liqueurs.
Mele Kaliki-Mocha – Trader Sam’s
A delicious take on a traditional warm beverage, this cocktail is a mix of iced coffee, cream of coconut, and coffee liqueur, and is topped with a beautiful heaping of whipped cream!
Best Non-Alcoholic Holiday Drinks
Not all holiday drinks come with the “spirits” attached. For those under 21 or for those simply looking for something a little more classic, try these awesome non-alcoholic holiday beverages.
Abuelita – Jolly Holiday Bakery
Mexican hot chocolate never tasted so good! With this mix of dark chocolate and cinnamon, you’ll be sure to warm right up with this delicious holiday drink!
Eggnog – Jolly Holiday Bakery
Nothing says Christmas like a classic glass of eggnog. This old holiday favorite is served warm or chilled.
Peppermint Mocha – Market House
You’ll be sure to be reminded of Christmases from your past with this yummy drink. Something about the minty chocolate screams nostalgic Christmas.
Hot Spice Apple Cider – Disney’s Grand California Resort
The cider at the Grand California is different from the caramel apple cider served in the parks. It’s the perfect amount of sweetness with just the right hint of appley goodness.
Holiday Harvest Smoothie – Schmoozies (DCA)
Try the delicious blend of fruits and greens, sweetened with natural maple syrup at Schmoozies in Hollywood Land!
